A lot will depend on the tires you have. You will have to experiment with your launch. If you are running regular street tires then you will probably spin a good bit if you just hammer it. You might have to roll into the launch. Good luck and have fun with it. Let us know the results.

New street tires suck, bald ones are a little better. Avoid the water box and do a short burn out to knock any dirt or rocks off your tread. Stage and go. Try to keep the car cool in between rounds.

remove some weight, front sway bar, air up the front tires, drop the rears to 25psi. Little things. Back seats, spare tire, jack, the list is almost endless. Make sure you have a catch can and battery hold down. Seat belts as well.

pffft...I run with a sub box in the back with 2 12"s I find the car actually plants the tires better with some weight over the axle.

Or you could do it the right way and add suspension parts. But to each their own.

suspension is the key for sure. I have also found that street tires hook better aired to spec compared to dropping the pressure like with drag tires. I have got my best 60's and the least amount of spin with 35psi as opposed to 20 and 25 and even 30psi. You'll have to play around with pressure to find what works best with your brand.
Good luck
