I wish D.C. had COLA to help out a little around here. It's a shame they won't ever allow it due to the amount of brass everywhere. Anyone feel the same....?

I understand, I was stationed in NJ, where off base housing/Apartments was 6X higher than BAQ. Top Officials refused to investigate and said it was inline with area rental cost.... Yeah Right!! My Ass! :mad:

When I was stationed in Hawaii getting COLA def helped. When I was enroute here I found out we didnt get it, thought maybe the cost of living wasnt too bad. WRONG. The cost of living here is freaking steep believe it or not it seems higher than Hawaii , and the fact that there is no cola given freakin sucks :mad::mad::mad: And for the amount of Brass here throwing off the curve is rediculous. I think its garbage at least on Belvoir that the post caters to officers more then the enlisted. Horrible:mad:
