Description:

Here we have a 1999 CBR 600F4. It’s in great shape overall, approximately 21K miles and runs strong. As you can see, the paint is not stock. It’s PPG Dodge Viper red. I did the paint and clearcoat myself. It’s not professional but it looks really good with just a hint of orange peel texture on the tail fairing. It has a nearly new rear tire with about 1500 miles and a front tire with about 3000 miles, new DID 525 VM2 chain, new 45 tooth rear sprocket, new 15 tooth front sprocket, Barnett clutch plates, new Interstate Cycletron battery, new Lockhart Phillips foot pegs and side marker lights, D&D slip-on muffler, new K&N air filter and pre-filters, Lockhart Phillips black windscreen, a Scorpion motorcycle alarm (not hooked up), new Pro-Grip gel hand grips, new spark plugs, clean and clear title, valid inspection, and probably some more items I forgot. Bike will include a factory service manual as well. Garage kept since the day it was new.
Features of the bike include dual front brake rotors, Nissin calipers, adjustable front forks, rear gas shock adjustable for bound, rebound, and preload, liquid cooled inline 4-cylinder engine producing approximately 100HP (0-60mph in about 2.5 seconds if you drive it well), 6-speed transmission, wet multiplate clutch, and passenger footpegs.
I want to be upfront with any potential buyers and say, this bike has been laid down at low speed in a parking lot. I was still a new rider when it happened and I didn't see the sand on the road. The left side fairing of the bike was scratched and the foot peg, peg bracket and chain guard were bent. All those parts have been replaced with OEM Honda parts or upgraded to aftermarket parts. The only remaining damage is the scratched stator cover, which may buff out if you so desire. It doesn’t affect performance in any way so I didn’t mess with it.
I'd like to sell this bike for $3500 or trade it for something neat like a 4th generation Monte Carlo. Motorcycle resides in Northern Virginia, USA. Buyer pays for shipping if necessary. Please call 540-446-9039 for more information. Thanks for looking. ~Matt
