Description: Alright, its time to move on, sadly. What you're looking at is a 1996 Trans-Am, has right around 147k miles on it, I bought it at 136k miles, and the previous owner said that apparently there was a bad head gasket at ~100k, and when they pulled the heads there were still obvious cross marks in the cylinders, gotta love lt1 longevity lol. The car still makes great oil pressure, runs very, very strong, I've had it to the track twice, both times on 225 all season tires so the short times and ET's weren't great, but I got a 105.23MPH Trap speed, and a best ET of 13.8. 60' times were over 2.0, so if you got those down, you'd be kissing 13.1/2's all day, but I didn't want to launch too hard, rather just have fun then have to trailer the car home. Clutch grabs great, was replaced at the same time as the head gasket, OEM piece. The tranny is getting rebuilt next week, so if anyone is really interested, the car wont actually be up for sale for about 3 weeks, unless you want the car with old tranny, and I can just give you the parts..

Maintenance;
Brand new Rotors and Pads on all 4 corners
New NGK tr55's all around
New valve cover gaskets
New Exhaust Hangers ( old ones were all dry rotted and squeaking )
New Wheel bearing on driver side
New Tie Rod Ends

EXT Appearance;
American Racing TTM's. 17's, 9.5/10.5 275/315's ( under 500 miles on them )
CETA style B-piller, Mirrors, Rear valance, PPG base coat clear coat black...

INT Appearance;

Car originally came with a beat tan leather INT. I replaced the following out of a 02 Trans am with EBONY

Carpet
Headliner
Sun Visors
Door Panels
Kick Panels
Sail Panels
Trunk Flap

Then Installed Cloth seats out of a 94 trans am, with power lumbar, manual rack.

I painted the center console top black, and the radio surround black as well as the gauge surround and the ac vents, it ties the graphite and ebony together well and doesn't look tacky at all..

Hurst black six speed pattern ball
Hurst natural finished T-handle shifter

Sound 'System';
Alpine 9847 Head unit, 3 pre-outs, and AUX input, for any mp3 player.
Cheap Dual Amp, and 10 inch sub in home made stealth box, carpeted with GM carpet. Doesn't hit hard, but its noticeable, and adds depth to the lacking stock system.

That's about all I can think of right now. The car's very, very clean for its age. Under the hood is always spotless in the warm months, as is the outside. When I take the tranny out next week I'm going to be dropping the rear end, undercoating the car, painting the rear end housing with some black paint, and just basically cleaning everything up. The car will look like a 10k mile car when its all said and done with..

The bad;
The driver side door got caught by the wind, and it hyper extended the door, cracking the door skin. I do have a door off of the o2 that I got the INT out of, with a power mirror, and power window motor, complete with glass, already painted white, just needs installed. I'll get this done before sale, if not I will compensate you.

There was some slight scrubbing issues with the rear passenger side tire the first drive I took, before rolling the fender, so theres some scrapes on the sidewall, nothing major.

ASKING PRICE: 7,500OBO

BTW, SES light is one b/c of !AIR and ORY, I also forgot the AC stopped working mid way through last summer, no clue why, might need to be re-charged, never bothered with it, t-tops rock lol
