Trans ordered!

a little early to be excited because it wont be here for 3 - 4 weeks. i ordered a rossler terminator 2 th400 today. rmvb, transbrake, moroso deep aluminum pan, jw ultrabell, lokar dipstick, vss sensors for the ls speedo and whatever other sensors. now im shopping and getting recommendations for a converter. looking at shifters, might have to be like raven and get the quarter stick (it looks so dam good) or i am gonna go with the b & m pro-ratchet. still need those 2 items plus a cooler and a flexplate. hopefully have it done to get the brake going in some nice cool weather!

i vote 1/4 stick pro. it just ooses sexyness..... and the handy t-brake button.

give a call to neal chance converters. www.racingconverters.com talk to marty. i have a cooler if you wanna buy it for $30. its a b&m cooler. in box new and never used. as for flexplate. TCI all day, direct bolt up for the converter.

as for the VSS sensors if you dont have ABS now then the wiring to get your speedo to work is VERY simple and free. can tap the rear wheel VSS sensor or the front (which is what i did since its always a 26" tire). i can get you the link if you want.

did you order the trans from rossler or pick it up off tech?

i will take the cooler. bring it sunday? i plan on picking up the tci flexplate. not sure which converter im gonna go with though. did you do the install yourself? as far as the sensors go its already going in so im not really worried about it. i know you can wire it into the front abs sensor though. i bought it brand spanking new hence the reason i wont have it for a month. no shipping cost either as they are in Girard, OH which is about 30 minutes from where i used to live so i am gonna have Jessie's parents pick it up and deliver it. the guy on tech sold the other one pretty much right out from under me.

ghey he sold it out from under you. but at least you will get a warrenty. yea i did the trans install myself. its easy peasy. just swap everything over and remove everything T56 related. i had to change drive shafts. i hope you wont have to.

remember this. you will need a 1" spacer between the T56 Crossmember and the trans mount. you can make this from metal at home depot.

ill bring the cooler sunday. just send me a text or call me saturday or sun morning to remind me.

Oh yeah that's the other item I need. I have the pst driveshaft now so i should be able to get a couple hundred for it though. I might just get the bmr mount. Might need your help with the shifter when you have some time too.

Congrats on the purchase eric. I'm going to be in the same boat you are. I got the pistol grip shifter from some guy on tech for cheap. If i was going new converter i'd do what chris said and call neal chance. Let me know how instal goes as i'm sure you'll end up getting yours in before i do mine haha.
