Talking z28 with 427 burnouts -trying to get views with links

These videos are of my 80 z28 with a 427 bbc doing some burnouts. I'm having trouble embedding them so the links are on the top.

Holy crap! That's alot of gear and alot of stall! How'd you have that 700R4 built to have it handle BB torque? Wicked burnouts anyways

Talking

Thanks for the reply and checking out my vids. My dad built the transmission with alot of racing parts for the 700r4. I bought a steel sleeve that goes around the input drum where it cracks because its weak aluminum. The website is Pro Built Automatics and it's also called www.700r4l60e.com. This is what it says about it
700R4 Input Drum Reinforcement Sleeve w/Machined Overrun Piston & Seal
Part Number: UGSTSL700

The input drum can get into trouble at around 550-600 FWHP. The input shaft can split the aluminum input drum open. The Input Drum Reinforcement Sleeve prevents splitting the input drum open. Comes w/machined overrun piston, & both seals. For off road & drag racing. For 700R4 only. Installs easil...

Then we put the beast sunshell in there, most websites sell this. The tranny has almost everything in it including 5 pinion planetaries, 29 element borg warner sprag, super servos, the oversize boost valves, and red alto clutches, but the main two things are the sleeve and the beast sunshell so it can handle extra torque and horsepower.

I believe it. I like how you stuck with the 700R4 and didn't go the TH350/400 route like other usually do.

Yeah I really like the 700r4 with the overdrive. I have a few friends that run 10's with them so I'm hoping I could at least do a high 10 with mine. If not I still have a spare 400. Then I would use the 700r4 for my small block third gen.

^^^ Thanks man!!! I appreciate it. It's been a long work in progress over the years. How's good ole TX these days other than my stadium collapsing?

Still got that rear cut-out? Your car was definitely the loudest during that '06 Memorial Day Parade in DC.

Yeah but not for long! I've got a set of flowmaster 1-chambers waiting to go in...
